A luncheon meeting, with one hour of CE, is generally held on the third Wednesday of each month except during tax season. The lunch meetings begin at noon and are held at various locations. Topic: The 1040 Audit. Participants will learn how to prepare for an audit and how to prepare a bank deposit analysis. The various types of audits will also be discussed. Speaker will give insight on how the IRS view audits so that the tax professional better knows how to handle their approach.
Speaker: Jeremy Lassiter is the owner of Tax Resolution Accounting that was started in 2016. He is a graduate of Liberty University with a BS in Finance, Jeremy also has obtained his license as an IRS Enrolled Agent and an Accredited Business Advisor with specialization in Accounting. He has been performing tax services for 15 years and accounting services for 12 years. He is also certified as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor & Professional Bookkeeper. He also has 18 years of customer service experience, he really has a great understanding on providing the best service possible to a client. Jeremy is a mastermind at reading the needs of clients and providing solutions. On Jeremy’s spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children Logan & Averie. He also volunteers with nonprofit organizations, go on outdoor walks with his wife, and playing drums.

For CE Credit for VASEA Members:
Receiving CE credit for attending VASEA chapter meetings is a benefit of VASEA membership. All active members and associates in good standing are eligible to receive IRS CE credit through the VASEA office for chapter meetings at no charge.
