A luncheon meeting, with one hour of CE, is generally held on the third Wednesday of each month except during tax season. The lunch meetings begin at noon and are held at various locations. Topic: LLCs and S Corporations. You will learn the different tax structures of a Limited Liability Company (LLC), how an LLC is setup, how to establish an S-corporation and understand reasonable compensation for shareholders of an s-corporation.
Speaker Bio: Tom Tanner. Tom has been an EA since 2016. Presently he is a counselor for the small business development center which is a government supported program helping businesses to grow or get started.

Receiving CE credit for attending VASEA chapter meetings is a benefit of VASEA membership. All active members and associates in good standing are eligible to receive IRS CE credit through the VASEA office for chapter meetings at no charge.
