At present, we are seeking a professional to fill the role of Enrolled Agent in a full-time position to prepare taxes, do IRS representation and develop strong, lasting relationships with our clients. The ideal candidate will be experienced with tax preparation, and tax planning for individuals, corporate and partnership tax returns. Tax Preparer – EA / CPA Seasonal Position – Northern Virginia
A well known tax preparation company is seeking full-time or part-time experienced tax preparer for this upcoming tax season (February to April 16) .
Qualification: This is a seasonal position and offers competitive compensation based on experience. A flexible schedule and enjoyable work environment is provided. Three –five years’ experience in preparing individual tax returns is required. Knowledge of tax softwares is a plus.
EA, CPA or Minimum 5 years tax experience
Prepares income tax return forms for individuals and small businesses: Reviews financial records, such as prior tax return forms, income statements, and documentation of expenditures to determine forms needed to prepare return.
Interviews client to obtain additional information on taxable income and deductible expenses and allowances.

Experienced tax service manager needed for year-round, full-time career opportunity with Peoples Income Tax, a Richmond-based company (not a franchise) celebrating 30 years of serving the local community. A bachelor’s degree is required; management experience preferred, Candidate must be an EA or a tax professional who plans to become an EA. The employee will serve as Assistant Tax and Business Services Division Manager and will also prepare complex individual and small business tax returns. Additional responsibilities during the off-season may include assisting with writing and updating curriculum for our sister company, The Income Tax School. The job may also require teaching, webinars, and providing instructor support for online tax course students. Excellent writing, grammar and communication skills are required.
