Who is eligible for membership?

Member

Membership in the Society is limited to those persons recognized by the United States Treasury Department as Enrolled Agents in good standing. Enrolled agents may join VASEA by paying the designated fee below and filling out an application.

Associate

Any individual not eligible for membership as an Enrolled Agent may be eligible for Associate membership, with no voting privileges. Associates must abide by NAEA’s Code of Ethics and CPE requirements. Any Enrolled Agent or other individual who has been removed from practice under the provisions of Circular 230 will not qualify for Associate status.
